Kava: A Play-by-Play

  • Right Away: Sweet and spicy flavor with a mellow finish,  leading into the characteristic numbing of the lips and mouth that Kava is known for.
  • 10-20 minutes later: Kava’s soothing and stress-relieving effects kick in. Relax, socialize, or keep doing what you’re doing. Most say it’s akin to a deep state of relaxation and focus – like Meditation in a Cup! This mix of  Kava is considered a “heady” Kava, meaning it produces a sensation of stress-free relaxation, with little to no impairment of the senses!
  • If you don’t start to feel an effect after 20 minutes, pour yourself another drink! Kava exhibits something called “reverse tolerance”, meaning that it may take a higher than normal dose to take full effect in new users.

    I cannot even begin to describe the ways Kava has helped me; Through bouts of aggravation, moments of depression, Kava has almost been like a friend to me. It helps elevate my mood, takes away stresses and worries if only for a while. The one thing as a Kava consumer I cannot get past however is the flavor. Earthy, bitter, outright mud water. Kavakwik provides a wonderful medium; Earthy enough to be recognized AS Kava but so rich with flavor that even the most avid user would doubt it if you told them. Personally my favorite is the classic Kavarita. The elements of citrus blend perfectly with the earthiness in the aftertaste making it a fantastic pairing, especially when mixed into something like lemonade. The versatility alone makes this product a 1000/10.

    This is a top-notch product. I only took one star off due to the sickly-sweet flavor, but in terms of the actual effects? One of the best instant Kavas on the market, hands down. If you enjoy sweet, chai tea lattes this is absolutely perfect for you. Think Dunkin Donuts chai latte but with a bunch of sweet n low packets added in.

    I am a repeat customer. The berry lemonade is delicious by itself, and the orange cream is as well or drink it mixed with orange juice or an orange flavored drink. The mocha mudslide…………….. is fabulous when using a recipe my daughter taught us. Mix it in milk with a good quality chocolate powder, (milk can be regular or a plant-based) I’ve had it both ways and then make a float with some rocky road ice cream and a couple of Reese’s Cups top it all off with whipped cream and a little chocolate syrup.
